Accountability alone, as Bush's "No Child Left Behind" is about, will not fix the education problem if schools are simply not adequately funded. hundreds of billions towards imperialistic wars, and our schools are told to get by. makes me ill. Good decal thanks. Im a teacher in New Mexico. Our district failed to pass - for the 2nd year in a row - a school tax increase to help repair our gym and add a tech wing onto the building. If our schools slip, so will our edge in the world. The answer to so many of the problems we face today would be helped through better education. |
